Dam........

So, the dam on the Cedar River where I caught most of my catfish this year is being demolished as I type this, and the city of Waverly is putting in an inflatable rubber dam to help control the flooding better. Has anyone ever heard of or seen an inflatable rubber dam? If so, how did it affect the fishing in your area? I'm really worried it is going to screw up the fishing because they are messing with the water levels so much. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if it will screw up your spot if thats still a deep hole after they put up the new dam it should not be to bad,but i have never herd of this happening to anyone until today?,i guess you will have to just give it a shot and see if they still bite

Yeah, they are really tearing stuff up there. I went through Waverly yesterday and they have a road built out into the middle of the river and they are driving bulldozers and dump trucks and whatever else machinery right out into the middle of the river to demolish the dam. It looks pretty crazy. I'm glad they at least waited until the majority of the catfishing season was over to start with the demolition!
