Here is a little Q for you guys,how thick does the ice on a lake have to be before it's safe to go ice fishing?

It's possible you might catch some, but catfish thrive in warmer water.... they are actively feeding the MOST in warm water, but who knows... you just may run into a few ice fishing. Good luck.

I think i might just have to wait until summer for the good catfishing but i might give ice-catfishin a shot
