What do u think is the best time to use a swimbait?

For me I like using it during spring,early and late summer

But i don't really have trout in my area in minnesota

when they stock trout at your local lake or pond,
but what people do at times is throw too big or small of a swimbait
maybe ponds will require smaller swimbaits while larger, deeper water reservoirs (who receive bigger trout) will require you to upsize a bit

Well yea i bought these storm swimbaits for when ice is gone in minnesota. But the fish in my local lakes and ponds love flukes. So i wanted to see what they would do to a swimbait. Well yea i'll probably try using castaic or huddleston swimbaits. I've heard good things about them.
