I need to fish !!!

I have not had a chance to go fishing in about two and a half months !!!, i forgot what its like can anyone tell me what way i should hold my fishing rod???oh and i also need to learn how to cast again lol

I feel the same way... I've been spending all my extra time deer hunting lately...

I'm just hopeing it doesent rain because i might be going camping this weekend at lake red rock over by Pella,IA which means i would get atleast one more try at fishing before winter

i counldnt go 2 mounths with out fishing lol

2 months?!?!?! dang....thats tough...when i cant go fishing that long i tie stuffed animals on my line and throw them down the the staircase and reel em in...SOMETHING TO BEND MY ROD MAN!!!!!

Oh, and I am extremely jealous of you for going to Red Rock. I have 3 "trips" that I want to make yet this year for fishing. 1 being Red Rock...2 being Saylorville... and 3 being Des Moines. I'm gonna start huntin hard for those flathead kitties... lol

willfred8706 I have never been ice fishing but i just got a hand auger from bass pro shop for like $45 and so i'm going to give it a try this year,what about you ?have you been and whats it like? (for anyone who has been ice fishing before tips on ice fishing would help me out alot),well it looks like this weekend i'm going to be to busy but next week we are going for sure to red rock i hope i can stay warm because they dont let dogs inside there cabins which means i will have stay outside with our dog

I've been ice fishing like maybe 15-20 times...which is a few but not enough to where i feel i should be giving you advice... lol. I don't own any of my own gear, except for an ice fishing pole.... lol I always just "tag along" with either my cousin or my close friend who are avid ice fishermen.
