fished after work today for 1 cat about a pound and a half on chicken liver

howd u set ur hook? cuz i always have trouble on catfish. the way i hook it, i never reach the bottom before i catch something else

i wait till i feel a bite, then swing the pole to the side

ok im thinking of something else, like where do u put the hook, cuz i tie a loopin the middle of the line, put the hook through, and then tie a weight at the bottom where you would put a hook, so i was wondering if there was like a diffrent way....

for catfish, i put a sliding weight on the line, then tie on a swivel to stop the weight. then I tie about a 15 inch leader with a hook on the end
