You may be able to crimp a split on a ewg hook and melt it a little bit

Oh also If you shoot archery you can mold some bow wax around the hook, it really does work I tried it today.

Any hunting or archery shop, and maybe dicks sporting goods. oh and basspro has it Just cut of a piece an knead it in your hand to soften it.
