remember what fish are doing durring the summer

when the water warms up into the 70's and higher...know how the fish act and where they move through out the day.For most lakes now we are in the post spawn and early summer patterns.So start covering a lot of water.And fish shallow in the morning on secondary points , pockets, and weed lines.Topwater baits and spinerbaits are good choices for low light conditions and covering water.later in the day fish deeper water and look for humps,drop offs,and also check out under water shelves.work with texas rigged worms or jigs is a good choice.
