Homeit is true that u can catch bigger bass with bigger bait, but you can put more fish in ur boat and still have a chance at the big one with a smaller bait, so never put small baits out of the question.

this worked for me during the pre-spawn,
if i would use a slightly bigger bait the bass will get spooked,
when i down-sized, thats when the bass would hit it!

small baits will catch big bass, but I never go smaller then a 7in worm or so forth

Down sizing a bait helps me catch fish when they won't bite the bigger baits

Im more confident with 4-7 inch senkos then the 8-12 inchers.
