I have asked many other catfishermen and they say the same thing

so you got a nice catfish but is it to small/big ?i only keep them if they are about 2 to 12LBS if they are any less then 2LBS you will not get that much meat off of them and over 12LBS there old and taste muddy and only good for a few pictures and to let go (big old fish can have up to three times the amount of eggs as small fish so its best to just have a good fishing trip with some cool pics then a plate of muddy catfish).

how do you land a catfish, bass u can just lip them,
what about cats?

you will need a net, fishing gloves, or you can grab them by there gill covers(where you loop a stringer through) because if its a nice size fish and still mad when you get it by the shore you WILL BLEED ! if you try to grab them by the lip trust me i know
