When i went out on lake bastrop with robert brown he tought be to carolina rig. For the first 3 hours we only cought about 2 fish. One of his main tips was to come back to a spot atleast three times. One of the times that we returned to a spot we hooked into atleast 25 fish in arrow, all of them being 2.5-5 pounds. We were rigged with a 1 ounce weight with a small green and grey speckled fluke at the end. Pics are comming. It was 25-35ft of water.
