the real best catfish bait and rig

truth is the best bait to throw and a socal fav is shrimp but u have to soak it for 2 day to week in garlic oil,and only buy fresh shrimp,best bet is to soak in the garlic oil in a container(air tight if possible)and let sit in the fridge for a few days untill ready to go fishing ,,then let it set in the sun on a hot day for about an hour or 2...and dont put back in fridge ,...set container on ice.

est rig is just a very short Carolina rig,,like an 6 inch leader, an a 1/4 or 1/2 sinker to get the bait down fast, also use 10-16 pound test is a good choice on a long 7 1/2 foot med heavy or heavy action
